Problem reported

07/17/2014 – CSRs were fielding reports of some users having to authenticate to CAS twice to get into the Zimbra mail service. OIT Staff members were contacted and are looking into this issue.

SI-rtr suffered an error early this morning affecting most networks on the southside of campus. Serivce was restored and the Network Services team will be investigating the cause further.

www.servicedesk.gatech.edu will be unavailable to upgrade the application software. The upgrade fixes three reported software bugs and enhances SSL security. During the downtime, web access to www.servicedesk.gatech.edu will be unavailable. Any incoming emails will be queued and processed once the service is restored. Any web submissions from external forms will fail during the downtime.
