The OIT Service Status website provides current information concerning many key systems and services provided by OIT. Current status information, upcoming outage announcements and general news articles are available via this website and its associated RSS feeds.

Current Service Status: Each of the major OIT services is listed, along with the current published status of the service. Status will be one of the following:

• OK - OIT is unaware of any issues with the service. In general, the service is working smoothly for all users.
• Minor problem reported - OIT is aware of a problem with the service that either affects a small number of users of the service or results in reduced performance of the service. In general, the service is usable for most users.
• Major problem reported - OIT is aware of a problem with the service that either affects a large number of users of the service or results in severely reduced performance of the service. In general, the service is not usable for most or all users.
• Unknown - We are unable to determine the status of the service.

Upcoming Scheduled Maintenance: Any upcoming, planned outages for OIT services are listed, including planned start and end times, and user impact details.

Service News: Any recent news articles pertaining to OIT services, posted within the last 7 days, are listed here. This includes both general announcements and details about any recent unplanned service outages.

RSS Feeds: As well as being displayed on the Service Status web site, Service Status postings are available via a configurable set of RSS feeds. RSS feeds are a standardized format for Web content most often used to syndicate news. To receive the latest Service Status postings through our RSS feeds, you will need a feed reader, or aggregator. Please see the Service Status RSS page for more information.
